Link Building By Commenting On Do Follow Blogs
Most blogs have enabled the portion where visitors can post comments on their post. Comments create a connection between the blog author and their visitors. The exchange of ideas or sharing of thoughts is one of the things that make blogs so popular.
By giving the option for readers or visitors to comment on your blog, you will eventually be creating a loyal following. People like the feeling that they are being heard or defend their position. People will come back to the same blog over and over again to see how the discussion is going or to read other peoples’ comments.
By commenting you get your link seen by other visitors to the blog and search engines; you can develop a following and offer value to the discussion. As you will see, not all blog’s comment sections are made the same.
Do Follow vs. No Follow
From a link building point of view, there are two basic types of comments and knowing the difference is critical to success.
No Follow
When you post comments on NO FOLLOW blogs, they will not be read by search engines. There is a certain code in the site that prevents the links from being followed. Sites that are No Follow are created to minimize on the number of spam comments. If your comment is not being read by the search engine, there is no reason why you should spam that particular blog.
Since the links are not followed, these blogs are less-than-ideal for getting links back to a site. If link building is your purpose in commenting then don’t waste your time and effort on No Follow blogs.
Do Follow
The opposite to No Follow blogs are the DO FOLLOW blogs. These blogs allow links to be followed. When search engines, spiders and bots crawl on other people’s site and they found your link, they will follow to your site by crawling it as well.
This method give you a better chance to improve your position on search engines and be more visible to a lot of people.
Yes, you can maybe get people to click on a No Follow link, but a Do Follow lets spiders, bots, and search engines automate part of the process.

I think Blog commenting provides an area for feedback and discussion. This interaction can make the site more sticky.It is an opportunity also to share a readers point of view in reaction to the blog post. Where sometimes can also mildly include promotion of a website that can drive traffic and also including a link that may or may not help for SEO purposes.
